Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li coming in 2009 from Doom director.
According to CoomingSoon.net, a new Street Fighter movie is on the way in 2009. The movie, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, is said to focus on the fast-kicking heroin and her quest for justice.
Andrzej Bartkowiak, of Doom and Cradle 2 the Grave fame, is on-board to direct and Smallville's Kristin Kreuk is said to be attached to play the lead role.
Despite being pretty awful, 1994's Street Fighter movie has grossed over $100 million worldwide. We're hoping Jean-Claude Van Damme can revive his career by reprising his role as Colonel William F. Guile.
