Maybe back in '95 when Dark Forces was released that wasn't the case, but it's about $ and turning a profit. Hence my initial point. And you know what? Jim	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post PC's are great, don't get me wrong, but this is a marketing decision...consoles are booming and you can't blame them for wanting to take the higher road and seeking a better investment by only releasing on the consoles. It would probably cost them more money to develop for the PC (labor, resources, etc) than they would make off of it in the long run. If they would, it wouldn't be by much. I am as shocked as anybody here, I think TFU would be awesome on the PC...modding :) As for watered down experiences, have you looked at the N*Gage, PSP, PS2, Wii versions of TFU?? They look terrible!! As for why TFU is being released on those systems, I have no idea! If not the PC, then certainly not for those systems...this should have been strictly Xbox 360 and PS3. Reply

I know that tyhe PC marcket is starting to shatter, because of the giant thinggy named as: PIRACY..... spookky.... most ppls would rather go bit-comet or katz.ws to download the game for free, rather than going to the local store and buy one( well an exception is those who don't have a local PC games store). even so.... there is a "letter " signed by over 5k star wars fans who want the game on PC.... Let's just hope its the cheap marcketing trick in wich it will be realesed later... BTW: if ppl don't have money to buy a new top class PC... then they won't buy a damned console which is even more expensive than a older PC( like pentium 3-4)) and most ppl have good PC who support most top class games realesd in the last 2 years. a mediocre PC=top console and whit that PSP9 play station portable) you have a version of it And ITS 15 TIMES weaker than a PC! You are encouraging the console industry and blame it all on low-end computer fear. Tell you what though. Fans of your games will decrease a lot in the future, and most of them will prefer the book, know the story, and not risk wasting hundreds of dollars to play the game. PC is the most widely spread item around. A book and a game costs much less than a book, a game and a console. It is not fair to limit the access of a large part of your fans in this way. Reply

Mr Lucastart since the first game 19.. something until the last one we improved our hardwares to be able to play them. Like Elephants, us PC gamer have a long memory, they better prey that we forgive them. Because three years from now when modern PC technology makes those 360's and PS3's look like spectrum's and C64's, and when PC games sales starting shooting up again, they better hope that PC gamers haven't shut the door on them. I can understand that but I doubt LA gives a shit. If this game DID come out for the PC and not a single PC gamer bought it they would still make MILLIONS just because the majority of gamers have consoles now. By not releasing this game to their loyal fans though is a dick move. I don't game on the PC because right now I have a shit computer and I don't think I'd be able to upgrade it or anything due to lack of funds, but hey WTF do I know. Like I was saying, I game on the consoles, the majority of people do, and even if the PC is the better platform for gaming I doubt ranting on this forum will change anyones mind. IMO they should release this game to the PC. If the PC gamers have been loyal this long they deserve it. I don't know much about how much money it takes to make it for the PC or anything but if they would be losing money by putting it on the PC then that would be a fair reason NOT to put it on the PC. BY lying to everyone though just goes to show they don't give a shit about the PC gamers. Im still going to buy the game for my 360, regardless of what anyone says. Good luck to all the PC gamers out their. I have nothing but respect for you, hopefully shit like this stops. Reply

blah	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I got no issue with them bringing it out for multiple platforms, sales will rise etc. But I am just annoyed that they don't even consider the pc as a choice. From what they said the game uses quite alot of features that are intense but what game does anyone play that doesnt have graphics to turn down. Crysis when it first came out was one of the most intense games out there and few people could run that on high without decreased frame rates. Heck i played crysis on low graphics on my xps laptop which had a geforce go 7900 gtx. In fact with all this thing about dual core and quad cores it should run even smoother on pc than the console games. Ever since KOTOR came out I have been waiting for a good follow up and this looks really good I am just disappointed that Lucas didnt think that there pc fans needed to play this on there systems. So Lucas please stop neglecting us we been waiting for this for a log time. As for a 4000 dollar system, i just built a powerful system and it only cost me like 1.5 grand us and I can run crysis on high without framing. So whoever builds ur pc has ripped you off. Reply
