Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo next month

Will feature unlocked force powers and an ending unique to the demo.

Speaking to G4TV at E3 earlier this month, Matt Shell, Marketing Manager at LucasArts, revealed that PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers can look forward to a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo in August.

"We have a special demo that's coming out next month on PlayStation and Xbox. It's a special version of the Tie Fighter construction facility," said Shell. "We've got some extra force powers open, so get ready to experiment and we have a super secret special ending in the level as well that's different to the level in the game."

It's good news that the demo will feature unlocked force powers that wouldn't usually be available at that point in the game, enabling gamers to sample a host of cool abilities.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is scheduled for release on all leading formats on September 19.
