Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has issued a note to investors in which he outlined what he believes will form Ubisoft's fiscal 2010 (April 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010) line-up.

According to Pachter (reported by MTV Multiplayer we can expect Ubisoft to release Assassin's Creed 2 - a game which has been heavily rumoured but thus far not confirmed - along with the delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Pachter notes: "We believe investors should focus on Ubisoft's prospects for FY:10, particularly as its products continue to sell well on the strong Wii and DS platforms, and as it rolls out a suberb [sic] line-up. We expect solid year-over-year growth from the casual (Nintendo) games line-up, with the introduction of two new brands next fall, and expect strong revenue contribution from Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and Avatar next fiscal year."

Ubisoft is holding its line-up pretty close to its chest, having thus far only confirmed a handful of titles for release in the coming year: H.A.W.X., Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and the secretive I am Alive spring to mind.

Oh topic, I thought Assassin's Creed had moments of brilliance but overall was such a dull, empty game that I would gladly pass on the sequel unless massive, literally game-changing improvements are made.

Hacking terminals and climbing plain glass windows with sticky pads is going to be fun.

Great post. I myself am looking forward to some shadow-based tax returns and battling the hordes of enemy auditors.

Excellent news to shred some light on Assassins Creed 2 & Splinter Cell Conviction. With the time that Ubisoft has had with Splinter Cell then I really hope that its very good and not a failure.

Main eyes shall be focusing on Assassins Creed whether it can improve in some areas which it failed at and overall people buying the game and moments later of trading it in again.
