Now scheduled for release in Ubisoft's fiscal 2009-2010 - after April 1, 2009.
Ubisoft has revealed that Splinter Cell: Conviction, the next instalment in the multi-million selling Tom Clancy franchise, is now scheduled for release during the publisher's fiscal 2009-2010.
"Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, whose release was previously scheduled for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008-09, will now bolster the line-up for fiscal 2009-10," states the Ubisoft press release.
This means we can expect the title to hit stores at some point in the twelve months that begin April 1, 2009.
Previous info had the game pegged for release on Xbox 360 and PC.

One word to sum it all up *******s!!!
This is probably the only Splinter-Cell game to be given this long over-due release date. Let me guess a new team is behind the development, if so bring back the old team which suppiled us with Double Agent, Chaos Theory, Pandorra Tomorrow and Splinter Cell.
Really am getting annoyed with Ubi now, because Splinter Cell is on my 'most wanted' list.

I think it was pretty much a given that it would be Fiscal 09/10, I certainly wasn't expecting it any time soon, and i'm glad they're taking their time with it. It seems Ubisoft want to make at least some good games...
