Mysterious Spider-Man game uncovered

Spidey website alludes to new Activision title set in the universe of the Spider-Man movies.

A website address in the back of the Spider-Man 3 game manual leads to an American Activision website, where very basic details of a game called Spider-Man: Friend or Foe can be found.

The game, which the site reveals is scheduled for release in the autumn, appears to be based on the Spider-Man movie universe, the website stating: "A new twist on the legend. A new take on the movies..."

The only other clue alongside a picture of Spidey comes in the form of a semi-animated introduction, featuring a stylised, toy-like image of Peter Parker's arch-rival; Green Goblin.

A source at Activision told Pro-G "we have nothing more to reveal right now". The website encourages visitors to sign up for more information.
