The script for South Park: The Stick of Truth grew so large that the people in charge of the project urged the team to make big cuts and release that content as DLC, South Park co-creator Trey Parker revealed at a Comic-Con panel this week.
"I really loved playing Skyrim, as many people did," Parker said. "I was like 'Let's do this. This is easy.'"
850 pages of script later and the team was being urged to "cut it down, cut it down, cut it down," and release the content as DLC.
This was met with jeers from the Comic-Con crowd, with Parker adding, "and I agree... f**k that."
"Somehow or another ... this shit will get out there," said Parker in relation to the cut content – suggesting it may even end up in TV shows.
South Park will be released later this year by new publisher Ubisoft.
