Bethesda has announced Dragonborn, the third official expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, heading to Xbox LIVE Marketplace on December 4, 2012.

The DLC tells the tale of a previous Dragonborn who, according to the official trailer, did not serve the dragons, but "devoured them".

Judging by the trailer, Dragonborn also appears to introduce the ability to mount dragons, which is probably worth the 1600 Microsoft Point asking price alone.

Further details on the DLC have yet to be announced.

Bethesda has yet to announce the DLC for PC and PlayStation 3. It's probably a safe bet not to expect it on PlayStation 3 any time soon...

Take a look at the first trailer for Dragonborn - including the first look at soaring through the air atop a dragon - below.

Nevermind the breath weapon, I wonder if you can cause your mount to lost control of its bowels when flying over a city's marketplace, or even just one travellers... I'd pay extra for that, just to hear the reactions! :D

Yeaahhh I can see this causing some problems with the game... like crashing every time it has to render something other than trees and snow.
