UK Video Game Chart: Medal of Honor Warfighter takes No.1 spot
Sells fewer copies than the October 2010 Medal of Honor reboot.
EA's Medal of Honor: Warfighter has entered the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart at No.1, knocking FIFA 13 off the top spot.
Warfighter has, however, failed to live up to the first week sales of the 2010 reboot, which holds the first week sales record for the franchise.
FIFA 13 might have dropped one place to No.2, but the game is approximately 20 per cent ahead of FIFA 12 in terms of sales after five weeks.
Forza Horizon is new at No.3, followed by Skylanders Giants which drops to No.4 and Dishonored at No.5.
Other new entries inside the Top 10 are Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask at No.8 and Mind Candy's Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park at No.9.

VideoGamer.com Analysis
Medal of Honor Warfighter claiming the No.1 spot is good PR for EA's critically panned shooter, but actual sales figures will determine if the title is deemed a success or failure.
We fully expect Assassin's Creed 3 to claim the No.1 spot this time next week, but the Top 5 could well be bursting with new entries including Football Manager 2013, Need for Speed Most Wanted and WWE 13.

I'm fairly sure if reviews had gotten out earlier (and if EA weren't so sneaky) MoH:WF probably wouldn't of done so well...

I played MoH 2010 and it was dire. EA should forget about this genre and do something else. They have no hope of making a dent in Call of Duty's mind share after the last few after the last few half-arsed attempts they've made.

EA get away with releasing a broken game again and they will do their crime once again methinks.

Very dissapointed XCom has also seen such a drop - I had hoped that might be a slow but long and steady burner...
