The recreation of the four ski resorts is excellent, the online functionality is well thought out, and at times the views are magnificent, but the game just isn't as much fun as it should have been.

Ofcourse your bound to get stuck on a flat while your actually snowboarding, but why would you want that aspect in a game? Do you think they should add waiting in lines for the lifts into the game also to make it even more boring? And skiiers aren't douche bags. I ski and board and they're both sweet. Doushe bag Reply

Grinding is SUCKY, and the whole "Story" of the game is so ahrd to follow. they're trying a new type of controller layout that sucks. nothing like the INDSTURY STANDARD tha tis the tony hawk layout. its the standard cause it works. you cna't re-start a mission (say free style) you have to wait through the whole 2 minuets in order to re-try. Challenges are hard to get to. the Boards and gear are mediocre. Wish they would come out with another AMPED. i made the huge newb mistake of straight out buying the game with out renting it first. sorry shaun, this one was a flop. Reply

Great scenery but it definitly needs to be controller option freindly for console. Needs to be able to have options to set your own controller, like you can on other snowboard games like Amped 2. Games does have frustrating issues on no tuturial lessons before hand. why do you have to be online only to multi-player with your buddies? why can't these games have stuff like if you go out of bounds the ski patrol will chase you that would be cool! Game score i give it a seven out of ten. Reply

kyle	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post the creators of skate need to make a snowboarding game, similar controls and physics. shaun white snowboarding def sucks, the creators **ed up on this game alot. i was stoked to try it out and hoping for the best but it blows. this review is pretty spot on, so dont get your hopes up people. amped 2 is the best snowboarding game out there. they **ed up amped 3 with the story mode. I have to admit it would have been a bit better if there was a story line but still I loved this game and I only played it for about half an hour, and rian... have you EVER been snowboarding? If you knew what snowboarding is like then you would have more respect for this game. I think this game is the closest to real snowboarding that you can get. I havent played this game yet but im going to assume that its pretty realistic. Not like that SSX garbage. Im feeling that this game would suck to people who dont snowboard as it is probably the closest game to the real thing. Im gonna get this game either way as i cant trust most of these non-snowboarder fat xbox people's reviews. AH well. Reply

That guy	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post the game is fun and i reccomend to any snowboarder however it does have some faults i didnt expect...i found that some of the easier tricks in real life are harder to pull off in the game and back flips take the moving of the left stick...i dont know, no game is perfect but in some respects this review has some points and in others its far off target Reply

Brad	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post wow. i cant believe all of these complaints and bad reviews. i prefer to play this game over cod 5 right now. this is one of my favourite games iv ever played. seriously. i havnt encountered all these glitches people are talking about. its awesome to snowboard and do events against other people (slopestyle, freestyle....). i dont even have to do the storyline at all. i could just go top to bottom of the mountains, pulling off slick 720 grabs and whatever, and i love that! maybe its cause im a snowboarder in real life, and i enjoy playing this game while i wait for snow, but seriously! this is my favourite game ever. no lie Reply

The entire time I spent on the game hoping to go fast enough to hit something....it seriously looks like you are going 2 miles an hour. This game is just plain not fun at all, huge flop. I feel ripped off and my roomie was the one who bought it.....horrible piece of excrement. (oh yeah, Im a snowboard instructor and I've been playing video games for 20 years, so I have some semblance of an idea of what I'm talking about.) Reply
