The recreation of the four ski resorts is excellent, the online functionality is well thought out, and at times the views are magnificent, but the game just isn't as much fun as it should have been.

EA's Skate. was the most realistic and fun game to play, I was hoping SWSB would be kinda the same but for snowboarding. IT IS NOT, I Pulled the game out about after an hour of really annoying gameplay.... Park City looks pretty legit ..but the gameplay just sucks... you dont pull on a trigger to ollie on snowboard ... LAME.. I will trade it in for Stoked and see how that goes... Reply

It is a natural ollie motion with the controller, actually feels like you are in control, not shooting a gun.. that is all I meant .... =) I gave the game another shot for another hour of my life wasted..... Sanchez	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post Well listen here TOMJON just because you have "boardable" mountains and you can fly 2 hours to get to the alps doesn't make you all pro rider and such... its a game, its not supposed to be real life but for a game it does come pretty damn close... maybe the controls don't let you press a button to ollie, but honestly, what games let you pick up and play. i think you just suck at video games. :) many reviewers said Midnight Club was horrible, complete bull... they just suck. Cremalot	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post right on...I live in denmark and have to travel for 12 hours to sweden or austria to be able to snowboard...but I do it once a year for 7 days because I love to ride and this year my lady is coming with me to learn...All I want in a snowboarding game is realistic physics and a sandbox mountain - I don't give a crap about wierd controls and such thats part of the challenge...boarding isn't that easy to learn either...When I skated (before i got kids) I was a hardcore fan of all the tony hawk games...the problem was that it got crazier and crazier...then Skate came and I got immediate satisfaction...I had real problems with the controls then but that was the fun part dammit...All I wan't is to freeride down the mountain...I got a fulltime job and two kids so when I play it's to switch off...so if this game got a real feel of surfing down the slopes I'm going for it...but can it give it to me??? Reply

Multiplayer big air comps, free riding, not mega easy to learn.... I think the developers have created something really good here, I think the reviewer and a few other posters have missed the point.
