Saint's Row demo on August 1

A demo of THQ's Grand Theft Auto alike, Saint's Row, is scheduled to arrive on the Xbox 360 Marketplace on August 1.

THQ has confirmed via the game's website that a demo is indeed on its way - almost a month prior to the release of the full game. The demo will only feature single-player content, so you'll have to pick up the final game to test out Saint's Row's multiplayer game modes. If you don't have access to Xbox Live then the demo will also be appearing as part of a cover-mounted demo disc on the official magazine.

Saint's Row is currently down for an August 29 release in North America, and, according to THQ's European release schedule, should arrive over here on September 1.
