Looks set to cost as much as £180 for the game and three peripherals.
EA has confirmed to VideoGamer.com that European gamers wishing to purchase the Harmonix developed Rock Band for Xbox 360 will have to shell out a huge £180 for the complete package.
The game will retail at £49.99, although we're sure online retailers will be offering the game for around £39.99, with the instrument pack (guitar, drum kit and microphone) to retail at £129.99. This means that if you pay the recommended retail price you'll be parting with more than it costs to buy an Xbox 360 Arcade.
It'll also be possible to purchase instruments individually: a wireless guitar will cost £59.99 and the drum kit a hefty £69.99.
This morning Harmonix, MTV Games and EA announced that Rock Band is to be released in Europe on May 23 for Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow this summer.

Think I read it before but can anyone confirm whether Guitar Hero 3 360 guitars will be able to be used with this game? If so then atleast it'll be a little cheaper!

Screw that, ea are practically the only company making reginal games now-a-days otherwise we'd all go to america and get it, the only reason the price is so high is because there is no other way of us getting the game, money grabbing *******s, thats me no longer buying it. I hope the EU launch fails because once again EU screw their customers.
