Developer BugBear working on additional content to pack into the game disc.
Namco Bandai has announced that Ridge Racer Unbounded has been delayed in the US and will no longer be arriving later this month.
According to the publisher, developer BugBear will be using extra time to create new content in order to pack the game disc "with features that will truly make the game sing".
Namco Bandai will announce the new release date and pre-order incentives in the near future. According to VG247 the game is still on track for release later this month in Europe.

@BC_Animus - Autolog made that game for me and even though I only had two people on my list playing it, it helped that one was a close friend I see all the time. Every now and then I think about getting back on there to renew our rivalry!

Anyways I really enjoyed the previous Ridge Racer games, but from the premise and the trailers this one just doesn't feel like a RR game. But who knows, maybe a change in direction might just end up injecting life and ideas into this aging franchasie/genre. They better have an announcer like in the previous games though - otherwise I'm gonna rage quit after the first race.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded is gonna struggle I reckon.

Name aside, I'm not fussed about this unless it turns out to be stellar. I want to play a racer as good as NFS:HP, specifically a sequel!

I'm still torn on this one. Love Ridge Racer. Yet I really don't like the look of the new crash & smash mechanics. I'll give it a phatty session. But, I'm not expecting much.
