An ex-employee of motion capture studio House of Moves appears to have inadvertently revealed Resident Evil 7.

In an update on her LinkedIn profile (spotted by NeoGAF), an ex-costume designer at the studio claims that she worked as the “Costume Designer for the video game Resident Evil 7” between November 2012 and January 2013.

Capcom has yet to announce Resident Evil 7 or offer any hints as to where the series may be headed next.

Resident Evil 6 launched in October 2012 but failed to live up to expectations, receiving a poor reception from critics and falling short of its 7 million sales by over 2 million units.

When contacted about Resident Evil 7 this afternoon, a Capcom UK spokesperson told VideoGamer.com: “As Capcom has made no official announcement regarding Resident Evil 7 we have no comment to make regarding this.”
