If you want one of those fancy Resident Evil 6 Collector's Editions, you might want to start setting aside some cash now.

The Collector's Edition, which will be sold in the UK exclusively at GAME, will set you back a wallet-busting £129.99.

You could almost buy a 3DS XL for that.

But if you still want a copy of the CE regardless of the high price, you'll be in for a treat.

Resident Evil 6's Collector's Edition comes with a variety of bonus goodies, including an Ivy University hoodie, a hardback artbook and a collection of 'zinc alloy emblems'.

For the full rundown of what's included in Resident Evil 6's Collector's Edition, head through here.

The Collector's Edition is currently available to pre-order on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

It's as if capcom know that I love the resi series and am in need of a new gaming themed hoodie (dog obliterated my assassins creed style one >_< ) and as clockpunk said, capcom are damn good at doing special editions anyway....... but can i afford it?

By all means, please elaborate - I'm curious about the unwarrented insult... Do you contest that a scant few pieces are worth the tripling of a title's base price point? What is your case for such a pricepoint given the content - I should like to see it.

Edit: rb - nope, I'd say I go haughty, aloof, and remember grievances for later interactions.

Eh? Are you really equating my questioning of the value of such content with 'sticking one's head up ones own derriere?', Wido? I think perhaps you had better clarify your statement...

£130 for a game...

Too much and I would rather shove my head up my bum thanks.

Hmmm... those Emblems sound interesting... I assume they are meant to be like the items you were required to find in the first couple of games...?

Capcom, to their credit, can put together some damned fine swag in their special editions. The High Stakes Edition for Dead Rising 2 was another well-put-together piece. But (as is typical of the company), they stumble on the price. Are those goodies worth an extra £90 (based on an RRP of £40 for the game itself)? I really doubt it.
