Resi 5 Alt Edition confirmed as DLC

Coming in the spring to Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network.

Capcom has announced that following the conclusion of polls which were hosted on its North American and European community sites in order to determine how best to release Resident Evil 5: The Alternative Edition, a decision has been made. So which was it: DLC or standalone retail release?

Resident Evil 5: The Alternative Edition will be released in Europe and North America over Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network in spring 2010.

There's currently no word on how much the new content will cost.
