DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii

Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

It's another decent week for PS3 owners, with a full PSN game, plenty of premium DLC and even some free add-on content. Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars hasn't wowed us, and seems a tad overpriced compared to some of the other PSN titles on the PlayStation Store, but might interest car battling fans. Of more interest to many will be the premium LittleBigPlanet DLC, which includes a Kratos costume and a level kit. While the Mirror's Edge DLC pack has been delayed until February, PS3 owners can download a single new time trial map completely free of charge, which is nice.

Likely to be less well received is the Skate 2 Filmer Pack, which enhances the replay editor suite at a cost of £4.79. Add on the truck load of new tracks for Rock Band and it's a very solid line-up indeed. Sadly there's still no sign of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. To be honest we've almost given up hope of ever seeing it in Europe for PS3.
