I actually had a good time with RDR played it through on both 360 and PS3 and came across the occasional bug but luckily nothing game breaking - certainly seen worse bugs in less ambitious titles.
RDR is one of the best games of our time. GTA4 was actually the let down, a monotonous non-innovative GTA that lacked any fun and was boring, they took away all the key components that made San Andreas so good which is why it is still the best of the entire series! Back to my point RDR was phenomenal!! Also on a technical note making an open world sandbox game will always have bugs I'd like to see you make the same game perfectly it's impossible! It's the nature of the model of open world games! COD is inferior, recycled every year and is far from perfect & you shouldn't expect a game like RDR or GTA to be perfect.

Perhaps they hire people like me to test. I played RDR through to the end and came across a mere one floaty moment, other than that it was all solid. It's the same with these bug ridden Fallout games, I have a great ability to not come across all these bugs.
Probably the same guy who coded invisible carts, floating suitcases and horses stuck in the walls of the local saloon. Lots of good elements but too many bad. Seen these issues on my 360 version and PS3.
Too big a world not enough testing.
I also hated the monotonous drone that was Marstons voice!
Personally my version (360) exceeded my expectations. I was sold on a trailer which showed a bunch of horses cantering down an incline, everything after that was just bonus.
Kudos to whoever figured out how to code lassoo physics, would've loved to have seen all the math that went into it.

And I wonder what PR genius said a wild west game in the style of GTA would be a disaster.

- And they were right! Just because it sold well doesn't mean it wasn't an over-hyped, buggy, steaming pile of turd.
