Command & Conquer given a new digital model

Plans in place to 're-ignite the fan base' for the franchise.

According to an internal EA memo written by Nick Earl, EA Games Label senior VP, obtained by Kotaku, the publisher has big changes in store for the Command & Conquer franchise.

Earl confirmed that Jon Van Caneghem, formerly of Trion World Network "has recently joined EA to transform Command and Conquer with a new digital model that is going to re-ignite the fan base for this franchise".

The memo didn't touch on rumours that the current C&C team would be let go following the completion of Tiberian Twilight.
