Rage development complete

Game enters manufacturing ahead of its early October launch.

Development of id Software's Rage, the heavily delayed FPS from the people behind Doom and Quake, is finally complete and has entered manufacturing. The game was unveiled at QuakeCon back in August 2007.

The news comes direct from Bethesda vice president of PR and marketing Pete Hines.

"Since folks have asked, yes, Rage is done and in replication," Tweeted Hines. "I've been playing every night and having a blast. Oct. 4 is almost here!"
