id Software insists that it hasn't forgotten about RAGE, the post-apocalyptic FPS that was released in October last year.

"We have a few things that we may announce soon," said studio director Tim Willits, speaking to Gamereactor. "We haven't forgotten about the title."

Last month a PEGI rating popped up for something called RAGE: The Scorchers.

I scored RAGE an 8 back in 2011, despite the fact that the game clearly needs a new ending.

I haven't forgotten about RAGE either, it's sitting in my 'to play' pile, currently untouched.

I couldn't get into it when I rented it, felt like a dog with eveyone telling me to go and fetch.

"Get it yourself you nob"

But having saying that, I might give it another whirl.

Think I need to give it another try then seems to be a lot of positivity about it.

RAGE was a very enjoyable game I thought, up to the last hour or so of it.

I would actually pay for extra content if I was sizable and didn't involve racing. I liked the racing but the missions was where that game was at. If it extended the ending I'd definitely pay for it!

Rage wasn't a bad game, the shooting was solid but the "pop-up" was the worst I've seen on any game over the last 10 years. If they're going to do a sequel I hope they don't ship it with that kind of poor finish again

I dun luvved Rage. Yeah, the ending sucked, but that's not really the point - the shootymans was just so good. Very happy to hear there might be more. In a similar way that Borderlands 2 is the most exciting thing ever, I'm looking forward to more Rage.

Doesn't mean you are off the hook to finish co-op, Ghost5! Those last few achievements shall be mine (and thine, I guess :p)

I enjoyed this game but don’t think I would pay for any DLC. It’s been too long since I've finished the game and with a lot more having come out since, I don’t think I’d see a few new missions as a good enough reason to go back to the Wasteland!
The game looked great, the combat was superb and I also enjoyed the variety of enemies.
The ending was a bit of a non event however I've seen this game for £10 on some websites and in a few shops.
At that price there can be no doubt its value for money.

I didn't start playin this till a couple of months ago, and I've not been back to it since either, the shooting was great and the go kart style driving was great and it had the best sound I think I've experienced in a game, but I just felt it was very repetitive and had way too much travelling between each mission, I've already forgot about it. If it wasn't so focused on been a semi open world it would of been better cos the mission where your in a game show running man style was how the whole game should play like.

Oh daaaamn, I remember that game. I enjoyed it wuite a bit, but the ending...wow. It might as well of just finished with a blank screen with a big full-stop in the middle. As you say Clockpunk, most people have forgotten about the game, so it seems a bit pointless doing DLC when they could just move forward with whatever other projects they have planned. Due to the poop ending, they didn't leave much room for a sequal either.
