Quantum Theory delayed

Needs more time for quality reasons.

Tecmo Koei has announced that upcoming Gears of War alike, Quantum Theory, won't make its previously planned March 25 release date in Japan due to quality concerns. The publisher also confirmed that the game's North American March release date has been pushed back.

No firm date had been set for Europe, with the publisher having announced a spring 2010 launch late last year.

Quantum Theory is Tecmo Koei's first attempt at the third-person shooter genre. Players, aided by the mysterious acrobatic Filena, take on the role of gun-wielding warrior Syd and must battle through an unpredictable, shape-shifting battlefield.

The game's in development for Xbox 360 and PS3.
