Project Gotham Racing 4 in 2007/2008

A competition being run by Peugeot has revealed that Project Gotham Racing 4 is planned for release in 2007 or 2008.

The Peugeot Design Contest 2007 has revealed that Microsoft is planning on releasing Project Gotham Racing 4 towards the back end of 2007 or early in 2008.

The contest asks people to design a new concept car and submit their design between October 6 and December 4. The bit of information that makes all this relevant for gamers is that the winning design will also be included in Project Gotham Racing 4.

"In addition, the winning concept car will be included by Microsoft in the Project Gotham Racing 4 game, exclusively on Xbox 360 that will be released towards the end of 2007 or first half of 2008. The future winner is hereby informed that he/she will not receive any remuneration for this," reads the contest details.

There's been nothing from Microsoft or Bizarre Creations regarding PGR4, but the last game was finished before November 2005, so the timing for release sounds doable.
