Prey goes gold ready for July release

2K has announced that Prey, its PC and Xbox 360 FPS, has gone gold and will launch in the US on July 11, hitting Europe on July 14.

Developed by Human Head Studios under supervision from 3D Realms, Prey is one of the most highly anticipated titles of the summer. The game is coming to PC and Xbox 360 and will be available in both a regular and a Limited Collector's Edition.

"Prey raises the bar for first-person shooters and is a must-have game for the summer," said Christoph Hartmann, President, 2K. "Its unique features, crisp graphics and in-depth storyline make it a truly revolutionary game."
