Penny Arcade Adventures coming to LIVE Arcade

Xbox 360 gamers get in on the episodic adventures of Tycho and Gabe.

Hothead Games has announced that the highly anticipated Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness episodic game series will now also be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade - a release is set for early 2008.

"We're very excited to be bringing our game series to Xbox LIVE Arcade," said Vlad Ceraldi, Hothead's President. "We love Xbox LIVE Arcade's ability to deliver great content directly to gamers. Digital distribution lets indie game developers innovate and experiment with new gameplay concepts."

The game is set in steampunk meets H.P. Lovecraft alternate Penny Arcade universe, with a script by Jerry Holkins in a style that will be familiar to Penny Arcade fans. Fan favourite characters will feature, inclduing Gabe, Tycho, Annarchy and The Fruit F*cker 2000.

Episode One is scheduled for release on PC and Mac later this year, with the Xbox 360 version to follow early in 2008.
