Capcom's new release must settle for second place.
FIFA Street holds on at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, despite a 44 per cent dip in sales and a busy week of new releases.
Capcom's Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City defies critics to place at No.2, with 60 per cent of sales on Xbox 360. EA then takes the next three places with Mass Effect 3, FIFA 12 and SSX.
Nintendo's Kid Icarus: Uprising is new at No.7, followed by Battlefield 3, F1 2011 and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
There are two other Top 40 new entries: Shogun 2: Total War - Fall of the Samurai at No.17 and Ninja Gaiden 3 at No.19.

A No.2 might not seem terribly bad, but given some of the poor sales totals for games charting at No.1, Capcom's Resident Evil spin-off isn't likely to have sold terribly well. However, Capcom would rather a No.2 than a No.19 new entry suffered by Tecmo Koei with Ninja Gaiden 3. And some new releases couldn't even make the Top 40: Armored Core 5, Kinect Rush and The BIT.TRIP games all bombed.
Friday sees the turn of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, Ridge Racer Unbounded, Silent Hill Downpour, Silent Hill HD and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Tiger Woods looks best placed for a Top 5 chart place, but Ridge Racer and the all-new Silent Hill could sneak into the Top 10.
