Ninety-Nine Nights set for April release

Microsoft has announced that Q Entertainment's Ninety-Nine Nights on the Xbox 360 will be released in Japan on April 20.

Developed at Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment, N3 is one of the most eagerly anticipated Xbox 360 titles in Japan. Since its formation, Q Entertainment has produced the handheld puzzlers Meteos on the DS and Lumines on the PSP. Originally planned for release in January, N3 was one of several Japanese Xbox 360 titles to suffer a delay.

N3 was playable at TGS last September, but failed to impress. The Xbox 360 needs a title to spark consumer interest in Japan, and Microsoft will be hoping that N3 is that game. We'll find out in a little less than three months.
