Nike+ Kinect Training will jog onto Xbox 360 on November 2, Microsoft has announced.

The upcoming fitness game, which is being developed by Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed developer Sumo Digital, lets players use Kinect to create personalised workout plans and identify parts of the body that need improving.

"By combining Nike's understanding and knowledge of great athletes with the powerful technology of Kinect, we have created a personal training program unlike anything currently available," said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of Marketing and Strategy of the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft.

"Kinect becomes the eyes for 'Nike+ Kinect Training' instructors, bringing a new level of engagement and personalization to the program that blurs the lines between a personal training session and a game."

Launching amidst the busy early-November window - which sees Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed III and Medal of Honor: Warfighter facing off against each other within a matter of weeks - there might be plenty of flabby bits to work off, too...
