Need for Speed for Xbox 360 launch

EA confirm that Need for Speed Most Wanted will ship as an Xbox 360 launch title.

A short update on the Need for Speed Most Wanted page has revealed that the Xbox 360 version of the game will ship at the launch of the next-gen console. Assuming this means the actual launch and not the launch period this would be November 22nd in North America.

Also announced is a collector's edition of the game for PC, PS2 and Xbox. Titled Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition, this set will include exclusive cars, races and specially tuned rides. You will also get a bonus DVD featuring behind the scenes footage of model, Josie Maran, concept art, and exclusive videos.

There is no word on whether or not Most Wanted will be a European Xbox 360 launch game or whether we will receive the collector's edition version of the game. We'll keep you posted.
