Danger Close, EA's internal studio which co-developed the Medal of Honor reboot, is hard at work on the next game in the franchise, executive producer Greg Goodrich has revealed.

Posting on the game's official website, Goodrich said: "Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor."

He added: "Since our launch last October, we've studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title. We can't wait to tell you more about it, so check back often to the website and the fan page on Facebook."

VideoGamer.com Analysis

Medal of Honor has shipped over five million copies worldwide since its release in October 2010 so it's hardly surprising that EA is already working on a sequel.

Given that DICE will release Battlefield 3 later this year we don't expect to see a new Medal of Honor until 2012.

Not being funny but i hope Danger Close do the Online too as MoH was a mixed bag . The Unreal Engine3 for Sp was poor in close proximity to cover & the Online half hearted from Dice proved to me that kill streaks are bad for gaming & 2 seperate control schemes just left the title disjointed . Add in the Tier 1 & story glitches that left me wasting more than a few hrs of my life having to repeat the game after not activating a check point on a mission the sequel doesn't have much to beat to be better.
