Max Payne 3 delayed to May 2012

Max Payne 3 has been delayed and will now be released in May 2012, two months after its previously planned March debut.
"We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest quality, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our Company," said Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take-Two. "Max Payne 3 promises to be one of our most exciting releases to date, and we are confident that consumers will once again be amazed by Rockstar's ability to take interactive entertainment to another level."
Zelnick also pointed to what looks like an impressive line-up for the 2013 fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2013.
"With Max Payne 3 now slated for May, our robust line-up of upcoming releases for fiscal 2013 is even stronger, including BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Spec Ops: The Line, XCOM, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and other titles yet to be announced for release that year," said Zelnick.
Update: Rockstar has announced that the game will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 15, 2012 in North America and May 18, 2012 internationally; and for the PC on May 29, 2012 in North America and June 1, 2012 internationally.

Looking at the March release list of games, there's one behemoth which is releasing called Mass Effect 3. I wonder if they're pushing the game back because of this? Diablo III is also rumoured to release in Q1 2012 as well, so it's possible they're pulling the game back for a later release because of this. Not saying it wouldn't sell well in any case, though.
