New Mass Effect 2 character revealed

New screens of the galaxy's most feared assassin.

BioWare has revealed Thane, a new character to appear in its highly anticipated sequel, Mass Effect 2.

The Mass Effect 2 website states: "In order to survive the mission, Commander Shepard will have to recruit the very best soldiers and specialists in the Galaxy. Meet Thane – hailing from the Drell race, he is one of the most feared assassins in the galaxy."

Mass Effect 2 is scheduled for release early in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC.
