Mass Effect 2 sells over 2 million in launch week

Hailed as the first blockbuster release of 2010.
BioWare has announced that Mass Effect 2 has sold-in (to retailers) over two million units worldwide in its first week of release. EA has labelled the sci-fi sequel as the "first blockbuster of 2010".
Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA said: "Mass Effect 2 is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2010. We could not be more proud of the game’s universal acclaim and early commercial success."

Now that I've explored the galactic cultures and lore a bit more, I think I can now say that Mass Effect was my favourite game of 2007.... above Mario Galaxy.

Hopefully get mine next week, but I now want to find a second hand (or cheap) copy of the first game to play through first.
I noticed the budget version has an extra disc. Got £5 on Amazon already so might try and find the rest for it.

I really do prefere the Mass Effect system to Dragon Age - it is the little things such as your character talking after you have chose on the radial menu, and the graphics which seem ... bad... on DA. Here's hoping
