Mass Effect 2 CE detailed
Includes art book, comic book, bonus DVD and in-game items.
EA has revealed the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition, set to arrive alongside the regular edition on January 29, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC.
Presented in a premium steel case and available in limited quantities, the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition will include:
- 48-page hardcover "Art of Mass Effect 2" book
- Issue 1 of the Mass Effect Redemption comic book
- Bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos
- Unique in-game weapons and armour that can only be obtained by purchasing this version
"We're really excited to roll out this Collectors' Edition featuring so many unique items, including special Collector's Edition armour and weapons and content that will surprise Mass Effect fans," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA.
The Mass Effect 2 Collector’s Edition will retail at $69.99 on Xbox 360 and $59.99 on PC. No UK pricing has been announced.

I actually put forward a question for the podcast regarding a ME2 CE, guess that answers my question :D Was rather hoping to see a copy of Mass Effect 1 thrown in there for good measure. Primarily, it's so that people can replay it to change how Mass Effect 2 turns out. Many people will buy it second hand, so this at least adds some numbers to the shipped total for ME1. I guess there's some EA/MGS publishing stuff in the way of that, though. Oh well :(
