Are you on crack? Mass Effect has one of the greatest open ended storylines ever conceived. I can't think of another game that actually made me think about the choices I was making as much as Mass Effect and how they would play out. I hope the second one lives up to the great game that the first one was.
wtf all talking about the game is on pc too. U people doing pc vs xbox which is not good. being a pc gamer is hard thou some games of both xbox and ps3 becomes excl. most of them both are available on pc's , now its on to the gamer to spent some bucks to ply the game. but that is y it is not easy to be a pc gamer.
God damn this is like a freaking System Wars microcosm right here. The real PC gamer community as I see it has taken the stance of "Let the consoles fight amongst each-other while we enjoy our games".
Stop arguing about which system is better, they all have their own niche. I'm a PC gamer myself but I can respect what all the consoles can do, the 360 has a rich library of games, good graphics, and ease of use for the most part. The Wii brings games into non-gaming families and has done a lot when it comes to innovation, as Nintendo has always done. And the PS3 at it's maximum has the amazing graphics and some real great games too.
And the PC's strength is the great graphics ( If you can afford them :P) the largest library ( Due to it's age ) but most importantly the people. That is really where the PC shines, the communities. Nobody can deny that Oblivion for the 360, while still great, sort of missed out on the mods and addons that the PC enjoyed.
Every single one has a niche, there isn't a point in arguing. What happened to simply enjoying games eh? I'm not ready for this industry to go from "Dude, we got some soda and chips and played some Madden and some Counter Strike and had a great time" to "I hate you because you have a different opinion, *Insert favorite system here* FTW!"
Please think about that will ya? It doesn't matter what floats someone elses boat, it matters what floats yours
THe PC game will be much better thatn the console versions, as COD4 was. I challenge any 360 player to try the MP on the PC. You won't be able to cope with the speed of the thing for a start. And remember guys, the 360 is basically a PC under the bonnet anyway.
Why is there always constant bashing between PC and console users.
I don't see why console users can't accept that PC users who spend four or five times as much as they do on their systems get a better visual experience, just as I can't see why PC users must claim some ungodly superiority over console users when it comes to games that are released for their system.
The two platforms do have their respective demographics, even if there not as clearcut as people would have us believe and that does mean different types of games can be released successfully on different platforms.
But who is to say a particular type/style of game is better than another type/style of game, not individual titles I hasten to add, as they always have their merits. Its like arguing blue is better than red...
In conclusion stop arguing pointlessly or at least read up on the arguments your making and give us sources rather than just baseless figures.
My own preference is always the PC as I use it for work and can't really spend time keeping up to date on consoles as well as my PC/Workstation, when and if Mass effect is finally released for the PC I'll buy it, otherwise I won't and i'll stick to the other quality RPG's that have been released.
PLAYSTATION 3 Kick Ass ...have perfect PC & PLAYSTATION 3 ... no need Xbox only for 2-3 games Microsoft do Big Part of hes Titles on PC ... PLAYSTATION 3 have much more power and Big Games ...and my opinion is One Good PC & PLAYSTATION 3 knock OUT the Xbox
"You know how many people tried to get Bioshock to run decently.. vs how smooth the 60 fps in 1080i"
I tried and it ran just fine. And sorry to disappoint you but you weren't playing in 1080i, the xbox360 renders in 720p internally and upscales to 1080...
Only if you invest in your monitor, graphics card, and speakers as heavily as people invest in their home theater systems. Although that would mean that you computer would basically become you home theater system. With the cost of top end tv's and stereo systems, you could buy about the same for your PC.
