Bring Down the Sky content pack to feature 90 minutes of action and 50 Gamerscore points.
BioWare and Microsoft has today announced details of the first downloadable content for its sci-fi RPG Mass Effect, which to date has sold more than 1.6 million units worldwide.
March 10 at 10am GMT will see the release of the Bring Down the Sky downloadable content pack priced 400 Microsoft Points. This is the first of a series of planned DLC, each further expanding the Mass Effect universe.
Bring Down the Sky will include a new uncharted world that will introduce the feared alien race of the Batarians. It's up to Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy to save the day after a Batarian extremist group hijacks a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova.
BioWare notes that the content will contain approximately 90 minutes of action and there'll also be an additional 50 Gamerscore points to play for. With Microsoft allowing up to 250 Gamerscore points to be added via premium downloadable content, could this be the first of five packs to hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace?
We thought Mass Effect was one of the game's of 2007, earning a full 10/10 score. Expect our thoughts on whether the new DLC is 400 MS Points well spent once we've played through the new content in March.

This is a great idea, and I cannot wait for this add-on. Seeing as Mass Effect is a very good game, and with this add-on I think it would make the game even more better as you would have more stuff to do. And help you get Shepard and your crew to Lvl 60...
