Classic Mac first-person shooter given the high definition treatment and released for Xbox 360.

This morning saw the Xbox LIVE Arcade release of Marathon: Durandal, a high definition remake of Bungie's cult Mac FPS.

Marathon is set 17 years after the player survived a vicious Pfhor attack on the U.E.S.C. Marathon. You've been awaked by the sentient AI called Durandal and sent to an alien world to uncover the mysteries of their technology.

In addition to featuring visuals which have been redrawn in high definition, Marathon: Durandal has full support for Xbox LIVE and redesigned controls to take full advantage of the Xbox 360 controller.

Marathon also features 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore Points. All this can be yours for 800 Microsoft Points.
