2K Sports' Major League Baseball 2K6 for early spring

2K Sports has announced that Major League Baseball 2K6 will be released on all major gaming platforms in early spring 2006.

Major League Baseball 2K6 will be the only officially licensed Major League Baseball videogame to be released on all major gaming platforms including the Xbox 360. New York Yankees All-Star shortstop Derek Jeter is the cover athlete and official spokesperson of the game.

"With Major League Baseball 2K6, 2K Sports has captured the essence of our National pastime," stated Derek Jeter. "It's been a great pleasure and honour to represent the finest baseball game on any video game system. I'm really impressed with the new graphics and features that Major League Baseball 2K6 will bring to baseball fans everywhere."

Major League Baseball 2K6 will include innovative features such as a new movement system and realistic player collisions. Adding to the realism will be a new player morale system bringing all new drama to videogame baseball.

"2K Sports has pushed the boundaries of our entire line-up of games this year and Major League Baseball 2K6 will be no exception."

Major League Baseball 2K6 is pencilled in for a spring 2006 release on Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2, PSP and GameCube.
