Microsoft has opened registration for the first two events in the Xbox Live Arcade Challenge.
The first two games featured in the Arcade Challenge are Lumines Live! and Small Arms. The Lumines Live! challenge will run from December 17 through to December 23, and gamers will be competing in Time Attack Mode.
Following Lumines is Small Arms, which takes place between December 24 and December 30, and the competition will see the best brawlers duking it out in ranked matches. Prior to the event the Small Arms leaderboard will reset to level out the playing field.
Obviously the winners will receive the admiration and respect from fellow gamers, but also some pretty cool prizes in the shape of a high definition plasma TV and Xbox accessories.
