Lost Planet 2 demo for Xbox 360 next week

Co-op demo to be made available to Xbox LIVE Gold members on August 19.

Capcom has announced that starting August 19, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to download the co-op demo for Lost Planet 2 - the same demo that had been shown off at events including E3, Comic-Con and gamescom.

The demo will be available first to Xbox LIVE Gold members, while Silver members will gain access from August 26.

In the demo players will be able to experience the battle against the enormous G-Type Salamander Akrid boss in online, co-operative play. Squads of up to four players will face off against the huge monster in an attempt to bring it down

There's currently no word on a demo being released for PlayStation 3.
