Following a period of exclusivity to those who'd pre-ordered the game, the Left 4 Dead 2 demo is now available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace to those who haven't pre-ordered.

The Xbox 360 demo is, however, restricted only to Gold members, while the PC demo should be available via Steam at some point today. Xbox 360 gamers without a Gold membership will have to wait until November 10.

The Left 4 Dead 2 demo features gameplay taken from "The Parish" campaign, set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Playable by 1 to 4 players over local or Internet connections on both the Xbox 360 and PC (with two-player split screen available on the Xbox 360), the demo features all the new boss infected zombies and new melee weapons included in the full product.

Left 4 Dead 2 is scheduled for release only for PC and Xbox 360 on November 20.

Vastly, VASTLY enjoyable! From walking witches, to infinite crescendo events, to frying pans, and even to the inclusion of Uncle Phil, every aspect of the game has been improved.
