Not only does the PS3 lose out on episodic content, but LA Noire isn't exclusive to PS3.
Last week, Take-Two caused a stir when a report on its Q2 financials listed the previously announced GTA IV episodic content as Xbox 360 exclusive. At the time, a comment from Take-Two or Rockstar Games wasn't forthcoming.
However, a Take-Two representative has now confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that the financial report was correct, stating, "The Grand Theft Auto IV episodic content is exclusive to Xbox 360."
AdvertisementGTA IV is scheduled for release on October 16 in the US and on October 19 across Europe. According to the recent financial document the episodic content, now seemingly exclusive to Xbox 360, is to be released in fiscal 08.
The financial report also lists Rockstar Games' LA Noire as a PS3 exclusive for fiscal 08, something the rep said was unlikely to be true given that "LA Noire is being developed for next-generation systems."
