Kane & Lynch 2 out August 27

Follow the disturbed duo through 48 hours of their lives.

IO Interactive has announced that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be released throughout Europe and other PAL territories on August 27 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days follows two disturbed criminals, Lynch - an impulsive and reckless self-medicated psychopath - and Kane - a tactical but disillusioned and desperate ex-mercenary - through 48 hours of hell.

"We believe the unique visuals and relentless gameplay has created an intensity never delivered in a video game before," said Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive. "In a genre where so many games look and feel the same, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will make people double-take. We think it’s going to make quite an impression."

In addition to a documentary film visual style, Kane & Lynch 2 will offer all-new multiplayer modes, including Undercover Cop, Cops & Robbers and the return of Fragile Alliance.

thought it would be out later but does sound pretty good not too sure on the new camera style tho

Hopefully there is going to be a demo for this. The first game was terrible. Great ideas but was a total shambles.

I wonder which site will be shut down due to false reviews this time - or do you think they will have learnt their lesson?

Im hoping they pulll it off though because IO have made a few games I like so heres the benfit of the doubt after cutting their teeth on the first one.

If they can sort out the swearing, fairly poor aim, graphics, cover system and AI (..a fairly long list), then it'll be awesome. I really liked K&L but I feel the second one needs to step up, they've had a lot of time to do it in, im expecting delivery. And on-line co-op is going be awesome.

Interested to see how this turns out. I was promised the world with Army of 2 : 2 it didn't deliver. I'm hoping this doesn't go down the same road and shapes up to be superior to the 1st by some way and not just some mediocre improvements.
