THQ and Kaos Studios' Frontline has entered the All Formats All Prices video game chart at No.1, pushing Dragon Age II down one place to No.2.

Kaos' first boxed release, Frontlines: Fuel of War, hit Xbox 360 and PC in week 9, 2008, managing to place at No.4. Homefront is an altogether more successful product, though, with the Xbox 360 version's first week sales equating to around 82 per cent of what Frontlines on 360 achieved over three years.

Elsewhere, SEGA's Shogun 2 is new at No.4, while Top Spin 4 just failed a Top 10 place at No.13 and Yakuza 4 starts its life at No.25.

The launch of Homefront also appears to have beaten some life out of EA and Epic's Bulletstorm, which slips out of the Top 10 for the first time since its launch. FPS rival Killzone 3 manages to hold on inside the Top 10 at No.9.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is also a big mover, up 10 places to No.17.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

We expect EA and Crytek's Crysis 2 to storm to the top spot next week, while the remaining places will be occupied by a host of 3DS launch titles - nintendogs + cats, PES 2011 3D, Super Street Fighter IV and Pilotwings Resort are our favourites to perform well.

I quickly sold Dragon Age Origins as I paid a lot for it when it was first released so probably won't risk it with DA2 as I was that disappointed with the first impressions of DAO

Origins is good once you get into it. There is a lot of faffing (lol) about to do in the player's origin story. But once you finished the opening section, it's off to become a Grey Warden and then IMO the game gets a lot better.

But it's easy to see why people may dislike it. DA2 is set out a lot clearer, you know exactly where you have to go etc. So, if you like the demo for that (which I'd be suprised if you did, because I thought it was crappy) then you should play DA2.

That's exactly what happened with me and Dragon Age Origins. I had no idea where to go, exploring was boring, and the world just seemed dull. I'll try again some time, perhaps, but it's probably not my kind of game any way.

Origins, and I don't know I guess I set my expectations for it to be a lot like Final Fantasy. I couldn't really find much to do apart from speaking to a few people and still not getting any idea of where to go next and killing a couple of the monster things.

I played Dragon Age and really couldn't understand what the fuss was about, I must have tried to figure it out for a good 2 hours. I was told if I liked Final Fantasy then that is a must have game but I just didn't get it :|

Suprised to see Dragon Age 2 staying at the top. From the reviews, Homefront doesn't really seem like a owrthy number 1 spot holder and if Motorstorm was released, I don't think that it would have been.
