Halo 4 is Microsoft's most expensive game ever

According to Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer, no other game is even close.

Halo 4 is a big game, we all knew that, but it's actually the most expensive game Microsoft has ever produced.

Speaking to Polygon, Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer has called Halo 4 the "most important entertainment product in the company". In response to a question asking if Halo 4 is the most expensive game in the studio's history, Spencer sated: "Absolutely. Nothing's even close."

Halo 4 is due for release globally on November 6, exclusively on Xbox 360.
