The return of the Superintendent sends speculation soaring.
Speculation is rife that Bungie is readying a new Halo game announcement following a new update on its site.
The new post is titled 'KEEP IT CLEAN', and includes text dialogue from the mysterious 'Superintendent' character.
Back in July, Bungie teased its fans with a number of cryptic site updates as well as text dialogue from the Superintendent as it readied to announce its new game during Microsoft's press conference at E3 in Los Angeles.
However, the announcement was pulled by Microsoft at the last minute, prompting an angry apology to fans from Bungie president Harold Ryan.
It appears, however, that the time is nearing for the shelved E3 reveal to finally make an appearance.
While it's nigh on impossible to make any sense from the text, at the top of the transcript it says: 'UNSC OFFICE OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE', which directly links with the Halo universe (the UNSC are the good guys in the battle against the Covenant).
Is this confirmation that Bungie's next game is one of the confirmed Halo things being worked on right now?

"Keep it Clean"
