Halo 3: ODST News

For:Xbox 360 Release Date: 21 September 2009

Bungie looking into the problem.

Halo 3: ODST screenshot

It seems the launch of Halo 3: ODST has run into some trouble with some users reporting disc read errors, rendering the game unplayable.

The issue appears to be isolated to the campaign and Firefight disc, with the Halo 3 multiplayer component seemingly unaffected.

Bungie has said it's looking into the problem and is asking for ODST players experiencing problems to send in details.

If you're having problems you might want to try installing the game to the Xbox 360 hard drive (if you have one), as there are reports this fixes the problem.
