Mythic Map Pack: full details

Bundled with the Halo Wars Limited Edition.

Microsoft has announced full details of the Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack to be released inside the Halo Wars Limited Collector's Edition. The DLC will be made available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace at a later date.

The three maps included in the pack are Sandbox, Assembly, and Orbital. A copy of Halo 3 is required to play the new maps.

Sandbox
Combines large-scale vehicular combat with a limitless amount of Forge customization. Boasting a tiered, open-world layout, build your own unique game experiences using the Forge map editor. Sandbox is a map unlike any Bungie has ever created.

Assembly
Set in the heart of a Covenant Scarab manufacturing facility. With two identical bases on either side of this medium-sized map, it's a perfect environment for both Slayer and objective games like Capture the Flag and Assault.

Orbital
A small asymmetrical map, is set in the docking station of the Quito Space Tether. One-sided games like One Flag, and One Bomb are sure to become quick fan-favourites, but the Slayer faithful will also find plenty of action on this battleground.

Get the maps first with the Limited Collector's Edition of Halo Wars, scheduled for release on February 27.

ms can keep there maps ,if thats all they got this year is dlc forget live,i mean is it me but i,m sick of this dlc crap,fallout 3.gta4,tomb raider,now halo to the list of pay to play add ons.it cost forty quid to use the damn service will we get anythink for free.i just bought a ps3 and it is awesome,quiet ain,t the word you don,t hear jack sh*t. now i,ve only bought a few games for it so far,mirrors edge was one guess what a free map pack,yes free ,and most of the themes are free too,online who said it was bad, cod5 is better on psn than live thats right and its free if ms doesn,t come up with any aaa exclusives this year its good bye from me where lives concerned.ms if your listening games it what i want not some sh*t dlc take a look at sony killzone 2 enough said

i will not buy any map pack as most of them are rip off,and not worth the money.
if its free is will get if not it can stay ther.

not interested since cod5 hit,i hope these maps are less buggy than gears,man that game was so bad online i had to sell it,the worst part you gave it a ten.i will wait till a new halo hits not that cheap spin off halo wars that lucks like a joke,i thought that was an arcade game for live
