Microsoft contemplating continuing Halo story?

Survey enquires about interest in a game which extends the Halo 3 story.

Kotaku's got hold of an excerpt from a marketing survey which offers an insight into what Microsoft could be planning for the Halo franchise. The survey asked participants to indicate how likely they are to buy the described game, using a scale from "Definitely Would Purchase" to "Definitely Would Not Purchase".

Game ideas include:

A Halo LEGO Game
A Halo MMO game
A Halo racing game, using vehicles from the Halo universe
A more family friendly Halo game
A 3rd-person Halo action-adventure game
A Halo arcade game
A new Halo shooter where you don't play as Master Chief
Halo Wars (an RTS game set in the Halo universe) - [This one's definitely out this year]
A Halo squad based shooter game
A new Halo shooter with a story that takes place before the existing Halo trilogy
A new Halo shooter that is an extension of the Halo 3 game

We hope a few of those never see the light of day, but we'd be happy to see a Halo arcade game or any of the other Halo shooter ideas - preferably one which starts a new story.
